Controlling the LEDs

If you cannot automate detecting whether or not your television is On or Off, you may have to turn the LEDs on and off manually.

The easiest (and safest) method is to use your cell phone. Open a browser, and type in the Hyperion address, followed by the port:
http://192.168.0.44:8090
Substitute your Raspberry Pi's IP address of course, but be sure to include the :8090 portion:

Tap the menu button and you'll see this:

Then tap on Remote Control:

Scroll up to reveal the LED device toggle:

And simply toggle it on and off:

.
