MP4 / MOV Rotate Project

Video published October 12, 2026

I created a Windows Shell Extension - a Right-Click menu - that lets you rotate any MP4, MOV, M4V or 3GP file (basically, nearly all cell-phone video types). Super handy if you shoot video top-down, and find your video is sideways or upside-down!

I wanted to make this completely with AI - so I used Claude Code and I stayed hands-off other than giving it prompts. I did not edit any of the source code myself - I made Claude do all the work, even signing and publishing to GitHub!

It installs on Windows 10 or 11, via a Trusted Installer (Digitally Signed by Microsoft under my JRN Enterprise Inc company name), which you can download here:

Download the MP4Rotate-1.1-setup.exe signed installer

Full source code (GPL 3.0) is available as well - read more about the project itself here:

And of course the VIDEO can be viewed On YouTube!

I also have a YouTube channel that is all Song Parodies: J-Man's Parodies. That channel was started in early 2020, for obvious reasons (lockdown boredom!!!) -- I still post the occasional song parody, so be sure and check it out.

More coming to this website soon...
